Mindfulness and Stress Management Workshops

  • This workshop introduces the concept of mindfulness as a practice for reducing stress in your life. You will learn the difference between mindfulness and meditation and we will discuss the benefits of daily mindfulness practice. We will lead you through mindfulness meditation and discuss how you can implement mindfulness techniques.

  • You’ll discover just how much sugar we are really eating as a nation, learn how sugar affects your health, and how to avoid hidden sources of sugar. In this eye-opening workshop, Merritt Tracy, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, will help you understand how much sugar you should consume in a day and how you can cut back on sugar in your life.

  • High fructose corn syrup, propylene glycol and partially hydrogenated oils, oh my! With so many chemicals in our foods these days, its hard to understand what we are really eating. This workshop helps you decode the labels and gives you tools to be a food detective.

Plant-based Nutrition, Juicing, and Smoothies

  • Having a plant-based diet doesn’t mean that you have to be vegan or even vegetarian. We’ll help you understand how you can create a plant-based diet with healthy proteins that you choose. We’ll look at the evidence for a plant-based diet, so you can make an informed decision about what is right for you.

  • Smoothies are a perfect on-the-go meal. In this workshop, we’ll show you how easy it is to make healthy smoothies that are packed with superfood ingredients to boost your energy, keep you feeling full, and help you feel your best.

  • Your hormones control an enormous amount of functions including your response to stress, your metabolism, your ability to sleep, and your reproductive health. If your hormones are out of balance, you might feel tired, sluggish, or irritable. You might struggle with weight gain, fatigue, insomnia, irregular periods, or hot flashes. If you are struggling with hormone concerns and want to feel better naturally, this is the program for you. You’ll learn hormone-balancing strategies to help you find balance and feel your best.

  • This weight loss program is focused on health, not on body image. As a group, we will work together to navigate the confusing world of nutrition and weight loss and tackle the emotional issues associated with weight and our culture. This program includes weekly group coaching sessions, a recipe e-book, a healthy shopping list, a healthy snack list, a meal planning template, and a journal for tracking your progress.
